Laura In India

If there is one place on the face of earth where all the dreams of living men have found a home from the very earliest days when man began the dream of existence, it is India.

So this is what it is like to feel like a pin cushion

Dr. Peter Ross (who I’m hoping doesn’t mind I mention his name on the Internet) from the Orleans Travel Clinic gave me my first round of shots. I got :

  • Cholera and Traveller’s Diarrhoea (it’s taken orally and it tastes absolutely awful even with the "flavour" crystals;

  • Hep A and Typhoid (first shot);

  • Polio (second shot); and

  • Last (oh God, certainly not least!) Japanese Encephalitis.

  • Two were given in my right shoulder and one, Japanese Encephalitis, was giving under the skin in my left shoulder… Oh yeah… creating a 1" square x 1/2" high bump in under my skin (it wasn’t pretty).

    Needless to say, my shoulders are killing me… and I’m sure they will get better just in time for me to go back to the travel clinic next week for the second round.

    Bring It ON!

    Hey Dave I thought you only "went out" with Tomy Lee. I wasn't aware you "dated". Interesting.
