First India Gear Purchased

My first trip shopping for Travel Gear… a suitcase is just not going to cut it on this trip! I need a great backpack and some decent walking shoes.

The Backpack is a Marmot Nikita 50 and seems big enough (I think I’ll be bringing the suitcase anyways for all the goodies I’ll be bringing home!) and has enough pockets to store everything I could possibly image carrying with me for 28 days!

The shoes are Salomon Symbio W and I don’t think I could find another pair shoes to better meet my needs. They are dry in 30 seconds (not really keen on trying that out), you can use them for hiking (Himalayas here I come), for walking (built to keep out icky-gicky stuff found on Delhi’s streets out), and best of all… I can run in them (hopefully along the beaches in Goa).

So, $300 poorer and so much more excited!
