Amazing Food and Crazy Drivers!

We have been here for a little more than a day and most of it we slept away... we didn't sleep much on the plane.

Aditi's Aunt picked us up at the airport and I was suprise at the lack of people but then we went outside and it was packed! Horns honking, people daring traffic... complete chaos! "Security" followed us to a car even through Aditi's aunt was firm about not needing help after all the bag were packed into the car the "security"
people asked for money for the assistance we didn't want...

The first thing we did after we woke up was get ready for an 18th Birthday party at the Radisson Hotel... It was unbelievable... there was a huge buffet of everything from lamb and chicken to tofu (no beef of course) they had the most amazing ice cream I have ever tasted! Imagine north american ice cream but 100x better it tastes so rich and like honey and nuts. Amazing... Aditi mentioned that she could eat it morning, lunch, and dinner no problem.. the waiter looked at her like she was crazy!

The driving here is completely insane! I've read about it and saw it on TV (go Amazing Race) but to actually experience it... Holy CRAP! Our drivers so far have been excellent but I'm continually amazed that we have not yet been in an accident. You haven't seen tailgating until you have been in India the cars are SO close together! There has been 5 incidents where I have braced for impact but reach time no problem... thank god for excellent drivers!
